The short version: it's your season and your content. Only add children you're responsible for or have permission to include. The story is written by AI from what you log, so read it before you share it. The Season Pass is a one-time payment per team, refundable within 14 days.

1. Who we are and what this is

Orange Slice Soccer ("Orange Slice", "we", "us") is operated by Brian Cariveau, a sole proprietor in Minnesota, doing business as Orange Slice Soccer. These terms are an agreement between you and us about using the app at orangeslicesoccer.com. By signing in, you agree to them, and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Who can use it

You must be an adult (18 or older) to create an account. Orange Slice is for parents, guardians and coaches; children don't sign in or use it themselves.

3. Children's information you add

Only add information about a child if you are their parent or guardian, or you have permission from a parent or guardian to include them — for example, as a coach or team parent recording a team's season. Keep it to what's needed to tell the season: first names, the games, and what happened. If a parent asks you to remove their child, please do; and they can ask us directly too.

4. Your content

Everything you put in — games, tags, notes, Moments — is yours, and so is the story written from it. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can run the app for you, including sending it to the service providers named in our Privacy Policy to write and refine your story. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't claim ownership of any of it.

5. The season story is written by AI

Your story is written by an AI model from what you've logged, under rules designed to keep it true: only real events and the notes people wrote, no invented feelings, no ranking children against each other. Even so, it can get things wrong. Read it before you share it — you're responsible for what you choose to share, and you can correct the story or ask for a new one at any time. The story writer only works on your season's story, and you agree not to try to use it for anything else.

6. Using it fairly

Please don't:

• add content that's unlawful, harassing, or harmful to a child;
• try to get around the app's limits, access, or the Season Pass;
• interfere with the app, or try to access anyone else's data;
• resell or redistribute the app or the story writer.

We can suspend or close an account that does these things. Story features also have daily limits that keep the service running for everyone; a normal family will never reach them.

7. Free features and the Season Pass

Tagging games, stats, video, the season timeline, Moments, the story questions, and an opening chapter of your story (written from a team's first games) are free. The Season Pass is a one-time payment for one team's season. It unlocks the full season story: bringing it up to date as the season goes on, rewriting it, and refining it in conversation. It is not a subscription and never renews; a new season (a new team in the app) has its own pass.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay, in US dollars, and may change for future purchases — never for one you've already made. If you delete your account, any pass on your teams ends with it.

8. Refunds

A full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. See the Refund Policy.

9. Changes to the app

We're improving Orange Slice all the time, so features may change. We won't take away something you've paid for during the season it covers. If we ever shut the app down, we'll give you notice and a way to save your stories first.

10. No warranties

Orange Slice is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that every stat or story will be accurate. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability to you for any claim about Orange Slice is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

12. Ending things

You can stop using Orange Slice and delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or end access for a breach of these terms, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.

14. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect, and update the date at the top. Using Orange Slice after that means you accept the new terms.
